I grew up in Bloomington and love the state of Minnesota! I enjoy working in insurance because it gives me the opportunity to help families protect their dreams. It also allows me to be on the front lines during the unfortunate times when disaster strikes. It's a honor and privilege to be their trusted partner, both in the good times as well as the difficult times.

I've spent over 20 years in the insurance industry and have built the Nick Atkinson and Associates Agency from the ground up. My strengths include leadership, training, and having an exceptional “can do” attitude.

While not busy working, I can be found with my family. My wife and I live in Shakopee with our children, Annika and Atlee. We also have 2 dogs named Alfie and Willow. I enjoy deer hunting in the fall. I love classic cars and collecting antique car parts and signs. I'm a big Minnesota Wild Fan!
